In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book and others not entirely clear. It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad ) the Book (this Qur'an). La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.ħ. He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases. Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah, in the earth or in the heavens.Ħ. Truly, those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, for them there is a severe torment and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution.ĥ. Aforetime, as a guidance to mankind, And He sent down the criterion. And he sent down the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel).Ĥ. It is He Who has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) to you (Muhammad ) with truth, confirming what came before it.
Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists.ģ. This is because they disobeyed (Allah) and used to transgress (the limits set by Allah).Translation of Surah Al-Imran. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayat of Allah and killed the Prophets without right.
They are stricken with humility wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allah, and a covenant from men they have drawn on themselves the wrath of Allah, and destitution is put over them. They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance and if they fight against you, they will show you their backs, and they will not be helped. And had the People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) believed, it would have been better for them among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Fasiqun (rebellious). You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind you enjoin Al-Ma`ruf (all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah.
